I think i'm gonna get a MD adapter tomrw, but i really wanna know if it'll work first. I don't wanna go back to the store and look like an idiot for returning the adapter. For ppl who don't know MD stands for MiniDisc. I plan to get the adapter that plugs into the cassette player. Getting a legit car MD player is way too expensive, and burning CDs for the car is also expensive since i don't have a burner.

another method would be using an rf modulator. this device plugs inline to the radio through the antenna port...you then use signal cables to hookup the md player to the modulator. however you do need to sacrifice a preset so you can listen to the md audio when it's in use. i think this is a better trade off than having the tape slot taken up and it's a cleaner install (no unsightly wires).

If anyone else wants to try it, I have an Aiwa minidisc player/recorder I'll let go of reasonably...I don't use it anymore; I listen to my Rio now at the gym.

To update ppl on the status of my MD, the sound is unbelieveable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's nothing that can match that sound! it's not only crisp and clear but the base is amazing!!!!!!!! anyone who has an MD should try it...way too nice!!! Never heard sounds so beautiful!!! i think i just found out what everyone was tlaking about with respect to the bose sound system...although i still think 2-4 extra speakers won't hurt.
