Anyone Missing Some Hids?!?
I was browsing ebay and came across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1835039879 this guy is selling 2 hids and part of each are broken... Oh, BTW he is east coast New York (where all the HID theft happens)
Just letting you all know, maybe they look familiar...

I sent him an email after going to have a look for myself. Here is what i told him:<p>
WERE THESE STOLEN OFF A TL? OTHERWISE WHY ARE THE SCREW HOLES BROKEN?? WORD TO THE WISE -- THERE ARE A WHOLE BUNCH OF PEOPLE AT THE 2 ACURA WEBSITES I BELONG TO THAT ARE LOOKING TO TRACK YOU DOWN ABOUT THIS ITEM YOU ARE SELLING... THEY MAY JUST BID ON IT & WIN TO GET YOUR ADDRESS. WATCH OVER YOUR SHOULDER MY FRIEND.

another interesting tactic would be to bid like a million dollars so that you end up as the high bidder. Then when the auction is over, you can immediately post negative feedback to the guy's ebay user name that the guy is dealing in stolen merchandise.

I'm (the url has been removed) selling my radio[/url]...granted, his is actually suspicious, but can you prove mine is stolen (if it really were) in a way that would suit eBay?
I'd just question the seller as to where he got it...maybe you can match up serial numbers if the seller gives them to you.
