a couple of months ago i saw the jdm headlights on rpm garage it was blackhoused and it didnt have the lense and it had a city light and amber corners just want to know if any members here have it? how does it look on the car?

yea 99-01 does anyone know what piece they put on the bulb so it doesnt glare everywhere when the lense cover is removed? im trying to find a pic ill post it up if i find it

in the picture the jdm headlight doesnt have the lense cover the rest of us have instead on the bulb theres like a square black piece if i find a picture ill post it

oh i found some pics from another thread in the headlight that black thing at the end of the bulb if i put that and remove the headlight lense will it still glare everywhere like people say or will it be ok since rpm garage is selling it like that from japan without the lense

i would think the light would just end up being something you don't want?

and thats just the same as stock painted black with that piece removed.....

also with the parking light in the low beam housing portion, which is JDM OEM.

yes it will glare into oncoming drivers eyes, the reason it is there is so that other drivers do not see the bulb, and the light it is outputting directly into there eyes (only reflected, which also means honda they can control the beam better also, since all the light is reflected at some point)
high beam does not have it because you should not have your high beams with a oncoming driving anyways



and also i know jdm lights are sweet.... but you also have to think about how headlights are biased towards one side (so RHD headlights will shine light into oncoming drivers eyes here, since we are LHD
