Looking for some solid TL-S numbers.

My dealer doesn't have them yet and I wanna see how much I'm gonna eat coming out of my car which is not even a year old

God that TL-S just makes me drool.

I think the concensus has been around 32k. If you figure the CL-S is $2,320 more than the CL. And an increase in the TL price $28,550, of an over estimate of $500 (a dollar for each improvement) which comes to $29,050. Then add about $2,400 to that - $31,450 plus destination, $480, which comes to $31,930. Then there is tax (in Jersey 6%) which comes to $33,845. Then registration and licensing - I do not know what it is but estimate $500 - $34,345. Again these are just estimates, I hope it is less, but what are you going to do! Oh, then depending on your age/record...insurance. All of the guys in Jersey, well lets put it this way, we should be proud that we pay the highest insurance right...!

I was in contact with my dealer on Wednesday of this week (1/31). They gave me a price of 33k with Navi. It wasn't set in stone, but that's what they've been given as a price point from Acura....

Just had a thought...does anyone think that Acura considers pre-release demand in determining the price? If so, all of us who have put down advance deposits would actually be driving the price higher. Also, if Acura is monitoring the comments in this forum (i.e. "I've got to have the TL-S"), they may set a higher price. So, by hyping the release of the car, we may be shooting ourselves in the foot. Just a weird thought....

That is a wierd thought, and interesting too. I don't think it's the case though. Most dealers seem to be selling it right at MSRP. I haven't heard of any going higher. Most cars when they come out like this sell at MSRP anyway, so I don't think all pre-orders made that decision for Acura.....
