Question Anyone ever use Meguairs Scratch X?

I went to buy some 3M swirl remover last night, but they were out. The guy at the store recommended 'Scratch X' to get rid of fine scratches.

Anyone ever use it, and if so, does it work pretty good? Any application tips?

Thanks,
Bloo

I've used it on fine scratches and it worked pretty well. I haven't used it for swirls so I'm not sure if it'll work the way you want. Maybe....

Actually it's going to be used on fine scratches. Did you use any particular application metod than what was on the bottle?

ahh this stuff works to the very minimum. for the money i paid for it i would not get it again. its like using polish. not worth buying another tube of this stuff when i can get a bigger bottle of polish.

to me its crap

What do the scratches look like? Any pics?
Can you feel them with your fingernail?

It works good, but it takes a little while to apply everything. You really should clean the area aroundit with either claybar or some types of paint cleaner, then use the scratch X(several times depending on the type of scratch) then go back over it with a wax.

yeah, the key with ScratchX is to clean off all the wax first. Then you will need to follow the directions probably at least 2 applications worth before the scratches are gone. Good luck and happy buffing!

Ok I decided to get the 3M instead. So here's what I'm planning:

Wash
Clay
3m
Klasse AIO
Klasse Glaze

Sound ok?
