I have HID fogs and they were working perfect until I did the fog light mod. I'm pretty sure it isn't the ballast or the bulb because I swapped bulbs 3 times already with different temp bulbs. I don't think it is the ballast either because it worked perfect before the mod and only happens when I first start the car.

My driver side works perfect all the time but my passenger side likes to mess with me. When I first start my car, (and have either the headlights off, days on, or low on) when I turn on my fogs, the driver side would turn on and warm up but the pass. side would just turn on for like half a second and go out (like a blink). But sometimes when I turn it on it would go on right away. If I turn them off and on right away, it won't come on. I have to drive for about half a minute and then try it and it will most likely come on. I have tried everything. Stepping on the brake, gas, radio on, lights on and random things while pressing the fog button to see if pass. would come on if I do something specific but can't figure it out yet.

It is connected to the accessory fuse on driver side fuse panel. Do any of you have this problem and if not, which fuse did you connect the fogs to?

could be your ballast starting to show signs of it goin.. my right one did that then id have to press the buton on off few times to make it turn on. then eventually it stopped working completely and i had to buy a new ballast
