Anyone Buy or Sell a 99 lately?
I was just curious if anyone has bought or sold a 99 sometime in the last 3 /4 months? I am selling my 99 tl and was curious what the market is right now for buying and selling. I have 42,000 miles on mine and was hoping to get 20,000. Do you guys think I can get it? I have taken off most of the mods. Just tinted windows ,sidemarkers, oem kit are left on car.

In feburary I purchased a 99 TL with 29,000 miles for $14K. The car had been in a previous accident and needed about $100 of fixing, soooo I was more than happy to fix my baby up here and there... and also mod some here and there...
I am hoping to sell it for around $17-18K in about a year or trade it in on the hybrid civic(just can't resist the gas mileage..) Or maybe a 2004 TL:wow:

car was wrecked 3 months after it was purchased new in 99 by a bussiness. It was hit in the front. The people that fixed it did an average job. The a bulb for a headlight had to be repaced. really minor stuff that doesn't bother me. The person that sold it to me knew he could get a better price for it but in that area in california the resale value of a TL isn't great because of the nice ass expensive cars in that area.
The car had a salvage title in Kentucky and got a clean title from the state of california. I have since gotten a clean Alaska title and alaska plates and tags.
The car has a salvage history, not a salvage title. If the damage is not extreme it can be re-titled as clean title.
I don't care, the tranny and engine are perfect and I will fix anything myself if it messes up!! I love roll'N a TL

I bought my '99 TL last month with 24K on it for $19,200 in Manheim, PA (Dealer only auction)!!! I think $19,000 to $20,000 sounds reasonable depending on the condition...you should go to kbb.com. They take your area into account and give you up to minute value estimates. That is what I did to place a value on my Integra. Best of luck to you on selling your car!!
