im pretty new to the Acura community and i was wondering if there was a lot of owners from CT.

im from wallingford and i have a SSM TL-S

 

There are a few of us...My friend has a 06 that he is just about to start mods...I have a 02..see sig for mods... We're in the Manchester CT area...not sure who else is out there...

 

I'm also in Manchester area- i have 2 second gen's..i think Fifty-Five is also from CT, theres only a few that i recall

 

I live in North Haven, and I have a 2000 TL-P

 

Also, user Excelerate owns an aftermarket parts shop in CT (I think Branford but I can't remember exactly), and has parts especially for the TL

 

Danbury here 02 TL-s

 

Branford is like an hr-plus drive from here, but it seems well worth it apparently

Has anyone thought of putting together a local TL/CL club...nothing too formal but it fight be fun to put something together...perhaps a CT AZ Meet....any ideas?....if interested drop me a PM....I'll also send this to each of ya as a PM as well....

 

ok as i stated in the reply to ur PM, u can start a meet thread. but i really want u to reconsider the pike, cause it really isnt that bad of a place. im there atleast once a week. there are alot of nice people. as long as u dont do stupid shit everything should be ok. best part is, im yet to see a TL besides mine and my friends A-Spec actually stop and chill. if we roll there in a big group we are sure to turn heads. please post the link to ur meet thread in here too.

i live off of rt68 near the cheshire townline. ill ask around see if theres a set floating around. i have a silver type S with the aero kit. i bought it a few weeks ago i should have my suspension in within the week. then its intake and pulleys, after that im not sure, i dont wanna go crazy with it

 

I don't live in CT anymore but I grew up in North Branford. Still make trips up there every once in a while so I will keep my eyes open for when you have a meet. Maybe I will stop by. I'd recommend staying away from the Berlin Tpke though. To much potential for getting in trouble...I know from experience. I've also been to Josh's shop in Branford/North Branford (it's right on the line). Real nice shop, cool guy...definitely recommend doing business with him.

Both cars from Schaeller in Manchester (lived there two years too, as well as Stamford for 17 years).

I'm from New Haven but I live in Rocky Hill now. just bought an 06 NBP a week ago today (still on cloud 9).. I agree with the post about the Berlin TPKE being way too hot (great place to get a ticket..) but a good idea with a better location
