Any rattles?

I was in the 3G TL formus and basically I read a ton of "my car is rattling." There rattling seems to be the equavilant of our tranny problems. I did a search for our generation and couldnt find really anything on rattling. So my question is does anyone here with a 2G have any rattles or is that just a problem with the newer ones. Mine is rattle freeand hardly makes no noise at all.

The only rattle I had was with the drivers side seat belt mechanism that's mounted on the pillar. Others have had the same problem. I adjusted the spring mechanism that was causing it. It would rattle going down a cement highway and was driving me crazy. Also Armoraled the rubber on every door everywhere. That quieted down a few squeaks. Everyone comments on how quiet my 99 TL is. 65k on it. I'm quite happy=very quiet car.

Yeah I totally agree my TL is very quiet even on the highway you cant hear much of anything. Im not the first owner so maybe the guy before me had my seatbelt replaced but I doubt it because I noticed the seatbelt has a little wear on it not a big deal but it looks to me like its the orginal.

Oh I totally agree with that I would much rather have my car make a sound then have my tranny die I did mean that is they seem to be as common as our tranny problems. Sorry I guess I worded it kind of funny.
