Updated List:
My 2000 3.2TL just had tranny replaced at 49570 mileage. The technician did
1. replaced transmission and ECU
2. resurfaced the front and rear rotors, installed the new pads
3. Adjusted the idle speed(it was too low), cleaned the throttle body.
4. Installed the updated brackets for seatbacks.
Also checked
5. power mirror, power seat, seat heat
6. door lock actuator
7. rearview mirror
8. weather stripping(black tape around window trim)
9. window tint (window film)

Do you see any common problems I am missing here?

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

Make sure your new tranny has a proper warrantee.

Two problems you can look into are the door lock actuator, which is known to have a high rate of failures, and the rearview mirror can lose it's ability to dim/reduce glare. There are a few others that if they come to me I will post that slip my memory at the moment.

For tranny warranty, I understand it is with my car at 7years/100k.

Yes, I checked door locker and rearview mirror dimmer. They all looks fine.

yeah the window film is what's going to get u. I had them redo it twice on two different occasions, and now it's back.

having it painted gloss black is the only real fix, and yes it looks exactly the same

I think it means the tint. Correct me if I am wrong.

On a side note, if anyone is getting their windows tinted, I would recommend Diamond Tint Film as it carries a nationwide lifetime warranty against the usual things like fading and peeling, but also covers accidental scratches, the window being broken, etc., so it is well worth it.

I'm still trying to rack my brain for other common problems, but I've had pretty good luck with Acura's over the years so nothing else in popping in at the moment.
