Any non-Zaino users out there?
I know i'll get the "welcome to last week" or "timeline" posts for this, and I'm a lazy bastard who doesnt want to search for previous threads......but I wanted to know if there are any other decent brands of wax (avail. at the local auto store)? Spring has sprung, so it's time to shine up the ride.
I was using Meguiars on my previous car, but you guys could prob. do better than that.
If there are any ABP drivers out there that can offer any suggestions, that would be even better!
Thank You,
Lazy Bastard

I've always used carnauba wax...usually Meguires.
Works great, but I think the best medicine for your car is to keep it garaged if you have one with regular washes.
Having a garaged car makes a big difference and of course waxing once in a while, but when you have a garage, the wax doesn't make as much of a difference compared to a car that is outside all the time.
Good luck man.

Well, I'm a Mother's boy I've been using Mothers since I bought the car new. The whole process. Claybar, Polish and Sealer and Carnuba Wax. The car looks awesome and rivals the shine of the Zaino users here at work with the same car. I think the Zaino lasts a little longer though, but the Mothers can be had at any AutoPart store......

There is definitely a difference in depth of color when comparing Zaino to carnauba. Carnauba gives a very deep shine. Hard to explain. Maybe you'll get to see in person some day. Zaino is still an incredible shine although maybe not as deep.
The biggest diference is longevity. Polymers last far longer than carnauba. Most carnaubas will literally evaporate off the car if left in the sun for a few days.
Blackfire is also a very good polish, as is Klasse, Blitz....the list goes on and on.

The Eagle One products have been very effective for me. I picked up a free kit at a car show. After using it I have purchased the full sized bottles. Their spray and shine between waxes is great and I also like their Spray Tire Shine product. We had a tird floater rain for the last couple days here in Dallas and it still shines.

Klasse All-In-One with a coat of Blitz on top. Incredible on my white car. You can pick it up at any BMW dealer. There is an autodetaling site and many of those guys use that combination. Very good and durable on a daily driven car. Zymol is nice but comes off by the time you get to the corner.
