Question any new body kits for a 03+ TL TYPE-S?

i was just wondering if there are any companies that are still designing a body kit for the type-s? it seems that body kits were stopped after like the 01 model and it's just been OEM.

the OEM is "ok" .. but is there any companies like west wing that are still going to design a body kit for the TYPE-S '03+ ?

you can get the wings west sideskirts and rear w/ the oem front lip. i'm sure it is only a matter of time before a new bodykit is designed for the 2002+ tls

It's only going to be a matter of time. When used TL price drops to a level that ricers can afford it, kits will appear on the market

I have the 4 piece WingsWest Kit and the OEM spoiler for my 03 TL and I think that is the pimpest kit currently for the car. Most of the members of this forum have the OEM kit, but I think the WingsWest Kit is 10x cooler (no offense).

you'll have to go through the pictures of my friend's S10 to see the audacity of my TL (plus, that's all I have right now so it'll give you a pretty good idea of what it looks like) ENJOY

I've actually been looking for pics of a Type-S with the West Wings kit (side/rear), I guess you had to get the front lip specially molded to fit the '03 TL? ...

Anyone else have pics of the WW with the side/rear and the OEM front lip?

what do you mean it is made to fit the car exactly? i though it was common knowledge that it doesn't fit 02+ tls. dont get me wrong, it looks great on your car. when it comes to be body kit time for me, i will have the ww kit molded if there is nothing else out at that time. it is much more agressive than the oem. i just dont like the "bolted on" look

None of their stuff comes painted, however, Wings west can paint any color.

I originally ordered a WW Lip spoiler for my car and they painted it to match ABP. I ended up not keeping it, but it is possible to have them paint it whatever color.

Thanks guys, I love the kit. The kit is designed to fit the car perfectly though(bolt-on counts), I'm pretty sure about that one, but it doesn't come painted, which does suck so the only risk you're taking is gettting the right paint color and hope that it won't wear down as time progresses, other than that, it's simple(at least that's what the mechanic told me). So good luck with whatever choice you make, and you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask.

I'm still surprised that the front WW lip fit on your car with no modifications since I know other people have tried and failed. It does look a little strange on your car since the front lip kindof covers up the two holes at the bottom of the car.

If you check WW's site... they have updated it to fit the 1999-2003 models now, so no fabrication should be required (anymore)

Really!?! ... Wait, when I do 2003 TL-S it says 0 bodykits, but when I do 2002 TL-S it says there's a kit. Hmmmmm, decisions decisions!

Yeah, you're right actually... they only have it listed up to 2002, however, we all know that the 2002 and 2003 are the same... so it should be good up to the 2003 models

I like the OEM kit better. The WW kit doesn't look very flush with the stock body panels (see side shot - behind the front wheels) and definitely looks like an add-on. I'd go OEM for a cleaner, less clunky appearance.
