Any Canadians with transmission problems?
Hi all,

With all the transmission problem posts, I don't recall seeing any Canadian TL's with problems. So if you're from Canada, and have a TL with tranmission problems, please reply!

18000KM since April 11, 2001.... no problems... YET.... fingers crossed...

My TLP was built at the very end of July 2001; I picked it up on August 15th. 10000Km so far and it is OK for now.

Over 14000 km on my car ('02 Type-S).
Picked it up May '01. No tranny problems.

My 2002 TL-P has 36,000 kilometers with no problems. I picked it up on July 1,2001. Still loving it.

Seems mostly good so far =). 9% failure rate with our small sample of people. I have a 2001 TL purchased last february and it's fine so far too. I talked to my dealer, and they said they didn't have a single "complete failure" on any 99-2003 TL transmission to date. Perhaps there's not enough Canadians on this board.

No problem at all. I am very pleased with my 2000TL with 56000km on it.

2002 TL-S, 14,500 km, bought March 2001, one of the first 2002 shipment, no transmission problem so far besides quite a few warranty fixes.
