Unhappy Another Sad Day

I got hit...again! An old lady driving an SUV took a turn to tight and more or less ran over the front bumper of my car and ripped it off. She seemed to think that there was no way that she could have done all the damage. My car was sitting in the parking lot of Firestone waiting for an alignment. Funny thing is that as I was trying to get my bumper back on so I could drive home, a tow truck came around the same turn and had absolutely no problem making it around. Luckily, a guy that worked there lives in my apartments and told the cop he sees my car everyday and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I didn't know the guy but he said he recognized the car as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. So here are the pics below. Of course they are from my camera phone so bare with me on the quality. I was able to pop the dent out and get it back in place so it doesn't look as bad right now but it's still terrible. To add insult to injury, I was talking to the guy that worked there and I turn around to see the damn lady dumping her purse out on my hood (change and all) to find her license. Man did I wanna slap that b**ch, but I held back and told her that I realize she ran over the bumper but the hood was still in tact and I'd appreciate if she left it that way. That was followed by a deer in the headlights look, so I said get your purse and all of its contents off my hood. Now the hard part...dealing with insurance.

Her insurance is 100 responsible and you should have a Police report to back you on that!
Just take your baby a few places and get the estimate. You are not required to take
it where her insurance says or to the cheapest bidder- its up to you to decide!
Ask the dealer what body shop they use - to get a sense of repair cost

And her insurance should covr your rental car too
Be glad it was parked and not rear ended by a mental case on the freeway

Good job on getting the police report, so many ppl forget to do this when there is no physical injury, but it is so important when claims time comes around.

Wow. As if running over your f*cking car was not enough, she then proceeds to dump all her shit on your hood. I prolly would have flipped. Nice self control lol. Hope it all works out.

No- the vehicle was not in motion- she pays and if she didnt- your comprehensive and uninsured would
No increased rate because your company paid nothing out

Thanks for the comments. My g/f also told me that I was to laid back but I didn't see any need to get myself a ticket or even arrested for doing something stupid. Hopefully everything will work out. And at least I get the front bumper repainted...get rid of all those damn rock chips.

I just don't understand why some people don't respect other people's things. Just because she doesn't care about the condition of her car doesn't mean that no one does. What a dumb bitch.

There was no scratches on the hood, which I was very surprised about since she was digging through the change and whatever else was on there. Thanks for the comments again, I am still waiting for a call from her insurance company. I already have a good idea of where I'll be taking it to get it repaired. And since her insurance is paying for the rental, I'll be having a couple other things taken care of while the car is in the shop.

So there I was sitting in the car, parked outside the grocery store, chillin in the A/C listening to my favorite song of all time on the CD....

When I observe a MBZ pull into a spot in the row behind me. The- lets all say it together now- lady driver gets out, walks toward to store, stops at the back of my car and proceeds to do what-?- empty the contents of her purse on my truck!!!!!
I guess any flat surface that yu dont own is fair game for this trick!
Imagine her surprise as I came out of the car bellowing like James Earl Jones

What do you think you are dooiiiiiingggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!?????????/!!!!!!!!!

Blank stare, gathers her things up and walks away without a word
What are you gonna do- maybe one of those alarms with BACK AWAY systems
or eletro shock therapy or something
Couldnt believe it- sitting in the car with it running!!!.......
