Thumbs up Another rave review of Tim's service

I ordered my body kit from Tim about 2 weeks ago (at a considerable discount compared to the list price of $1169 plus tax!!). To my [pleasant] surprise, it arrived within a week (despite saying it may take up to two weeks to ship). Last Friday I installed the side pieces, then the front, then moved onto the back. I noticed that the hardware for the rear piece was missing.

No big deal, I e-mailed Tim that afternoon. I went to the phone book and called 3 local Acura dealers and asked if they had the hardware kit in stock. All 3 of them basically gave me the same answer: The hardware is included in the kit and isn't itemized anywhere else, so I was more or less out of luck.

I get back to the computer 10 minutes later and there's an e-mail sitting in my Inbox from Tim. He had the hardware kit on it's way to me via Express Mail Saturday Delivery and told me that I should expect it by noon the next day.

True to his word, the parts arrived at 11:00am and the rear piece was installed shortly thereafter.

With such great prices and truly astounding customer service, there's no sense in turning anywhere else for parts.

Excellent commendation.

I haven't had the money (or permission) to buy any mods or parts yet but, with all of the positive comments I have read about Tim he is at the top of my source list when the time comes.

Tim, keep up the good work!

He is definitely the man. I have a bunch of stuff that will be ordered from here in the next month or two, if not by me, by Santa, aka my fiance.......

Perhaps its because Im fairly new to the forum, but who is Tim? How do you order parts from him? Im interested in mod's and have not yet begun shopping around. Additionally, since Im not nearly as tech/tool saavy as you all, will the dealer install the parts if I purchase them aftermarket?

Thanks

Tim (Snook789) is the owner/operator of this site. He also runs www.autocarparts.com where you can buy TL parts and accessories. Just click on any of the parts category buttons rright under the tachometer graphic and you're on your way.

Rick Case Acura will install pretty much anything - intakes, header, exhaust, springs, etc.

I just ordered my first mod from Tim - Comptech sways. The confirmation email said it would ship in 2-3 business days - it shipped out the same day. They just came in today - 6 days including the weekend, which isn't bad for UPS ground from CA to TX.

Can't wait until this weekend when I get to install them. Now, if I can just get spousal approval to order the AEM CAI!

Tims service is first rate. Wouldnt consider any other online source. So far I have purchased Headers, Sways, Body Kit, Wings West Lip Spoiler, and a whole bunch of other accessories from him. Never had a problem with the service, product or shipping to date. He gets an A+ in each and every aspect.

Think about this; How many stores would say to you save your money, this mod is not going to give you what you want; save it for something else??

i am just wondering, what's tim's email? i emailed their info department and sales department, got replies from different people but none of them is tim.

so should i email tim@autocarparts.com if i have some personal questions for him?

I've also ordered a few parts from Tim and nothing but the best service. He would answer all my questions and made sure that I was happy with my purchase. He will always be #1 on my list whenever I need any types of mods.

well, i got a review about how BAD tim's service is!

ordered the trim kit thursday night (11pm). according to the confirmation, i should be able to check the tracking when it's shipped (2-3 BUSINESS days after order).

i assumed that the friday would count as business day 1 because i ordered so late. so i expected it to be shipped maybe the next monday and received maybe mid-week.

i was in kansas at the time and traveling back home to pa (where it was supposed to be sent) that weekend.

guess what was waiting for me when i arrived Saturday (2 days after i placed the order).

so you want to know how bad tim's service is?

NOT BAD AT ALL!

Although I have only ordered twice from Tim so far, he has provided one of the best services I have ever gotten. He replies his emailed very promptly and he makes promises that he can delivered. On top of that, he gives very competitive prices. Now, that's the type of people I would certainly like to do business with.

Once again, Thanks Tim for your excellent service.
