Hey there everyone, I am long time reader of your forum and I just want to come out and say what's up. Today, I just picked up my 2003 TL Type S w/ Navigation SSM. It has 10 miles on it!! I am so excited to test it out but it's raining over here in NYC. I had a 2000 Acura TL for 3 years and decided to trade it in for the new baby. By the way, Tranny blew out on the 2000 last month at 42,000 miles. Hopefully the '03 won't do the same thing. I plan on doing some mods to it in the coming months, I just want to enjoy the OEM style for a minute.

After driving the 2000 for 3 years and 2003 for 20 minutes, I noticed that the Glare button on the rearview mirror doesn't dim the same way as in the 2000. Has anybody else noticed that or is it just me??

As for the review mirror, I had a 2001 TL and now a 2002 TLS and they both seemed the same.

Are you sure it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that lights disappear faster with the Type-S and it doesn't have time to react?
