ANC297's progress thread...PIC HEAVY!
Save the money on the filter.
Just grab a K&N Filter Recharge kit.
Injen uses the KN product in their kits and most of the filters are made by each other.
I recharged mine.
If its really dirty wash it twice.
You only have to recharge it 50000km or so, the debris and dirt help with the filtration process.
Do not use compressed air on it!

Not great quality, but took it today from my phone...
Anyways, recently got new brakes, tires, motor mounts, doing a valve adjustment this week, new speakers, cabin air filter and more.

Just ordered HID fogs. 3k.
And shaved the interior door locks this morning, and maybe some led work later on. Possibly window switches, memory seats and maybe even the cluster.

i have the same drop myself, i wouldnt reccomend going ne lower esp if u r going to do a lip kit.. and an exhaust to add will deff scrape on everything... props on the look though now u have me contemplating the rim look, i was going to powdercoat completly but now u got me
...
...
special ed...
he gets compliments on the rims ALLL the time! i can personally vouch for them being hella nice!
takes a while to get it all cleaned up, sanded, primed, painted, but it is most deff. worth it. and under 20bucks compared to at least 400 to powdercoat.
make sure to prep and use the right paint and you'll have NO problem! oh! and keep em clean

They are small, but have decent light output and for 99c + free shipping for 10 i cant complain!
They have 4 bulbs when typically most bulbs have 2.
Look sick in the doors and on the lic. plate.

It took about 2 weeks to get to me...
I sealed the lic. plate drain hole and dipped them in waterproof glue for longevity...

Yeah, the garage is off access for a few more days...
And I highlyyyy recommend getting it painted by a shop so it matches perfectly...I need to get mine re-done.

Since the last actual update a few new things have happened.
Valve adjustment for starters...Car runs a lot better since, but I have a slight misfire I need to figure out...Its not throwing any codes, but its definitely there. I am trying to figure out if the purge valve solenoid that is ticking like a b*tch can be related to the misfire issue. Replaced valve cover gaskets, spark plug gaskets and all that junk as well.
I am in the midst of a black interior conversion as well
.
I am not just changing out everything though, its gonna be kind of unique when all said and done. Still looking for a black dash and steering wheel though.
I did a lot of changes with the lighting also...The foglight lenses had to be re-done because they were to dark, they didnt let enough light through...Even with the hids...So I made new lenses and used a special tint for foglights from the tint shop.
I also got led reverse lights and did footwell lighting with a in-dash switch.
Tomorrow I am probably installing some new suspension bushings and picking up a new, thicker rear sway bar...Its from the 08 TL-s6. So we'll see how that feels.
I'm gonna try to post some pics later...Hopefully.

Wow, so I kinda forgot about this thread in the past 6 months or so...
A lot has happened with the car since, including a timing belt/water pump job, some other small mods and whatnot...
Anyways, heres a pic from today, hopefully I can find some spots to take some more in the coming week or so.
