My car was purchased from a dealer 7 hrs away from my current residence. This dealer gets his used autos from Canada. So this means I need to drive the car 7 hrs and then wait for him to take it to Canada and back to get the repairs.
It will eventually get done "but this one is (not) easy IMHO" :licka:

ok.. my cd player doesnt read burnned CD's is that a recalled issue? Im up to 84k and bought my TL from a toyota dealership as the second owner. the security horn is also very weak. a few other things..

Correct me if I'm wrong... but I believe "recalls" are free no matter what the status of your waranty is. It's free by the manufacturer due to some possible infringement on some law or a possibility of hurting someone. However, a "service bulletin" basically means that it is a known problem and there is a known fix, but it isn't free, unless you have a warranty. They aren't free without a warranty since it will not harm anyone or infringe on any law.

2003 are still new, there will be things to be fixed as time goes by. I'm already having some of the problems that was described on the 2002s.:o
