All weather mats
Do you guys take out your regular floor mats when putting in your winter mats or do you put the winter mats on top? I'm getting some mats from www.mats.com for Christmas and want to be ready to install on Christmas day!

as you can see, I have the same mats. I have the stock floor mats under the all weather ones. The stock floor mats have never been touched by feet. I ordered the all weather mats before I got my TL - I put the stock mats in underneath about 6 months ago because I got tired of moving them in my garage.

I used to keep the stock mats underneath the weathertech mats, but they were getting an imprint from the bottom of the rubber mats, so I took them out and put them in the trunk....oddly though, the weathertech mats seem to slide around without the stock mats underneath them. Love the weathertech mats, though!

I bought some grey weathertech mats 3 years ago. They are pretty much falling apart and look like crap. I called the company who said that their product will last about that long and then as a natural rubber product will crack and warp. I like the product, but I thought that they would last longer. I wonder if the black ones last longer?

I bought my winter mats from Acura and I don't know who makes them but they are substantial and the black goes well with the interior. They are differnt than what was posted here earlier.
Anyway, the plastic spikes kill the OEM floor mats and as such I took mine out, as the OEM floor mats look great during the warmer months. I also think the salt, despite the fine fit of the winter mats that cup over the OEM mats, will damage the mats.

maybe not, looking back, that picture sucks. They are still in GREAT condition, but they did fade a little from the dark black that they were.

I just bought some Acura all-weather mats from this very web site (I love this site, I'm full-on into the Acura thing, I figured I might as well get the "Acura"-imprinted mats! ). I saw the same in the dealership and am afraid the spikes would ruin the original mats. So once I receive the new ones in a couple of days, I'll be switching the original for the all-season.
