Post To all those considering buying real HID foglights

http://www.sylvania.com/prodinfo/auto/arckit.htm These Xenarcs the best on the market. They are suppost to be coming out at the end of July. The other real HID foglights on the market don't have the correct HID color and I am pretty sure are not street legal. These do have the correct blue HID color and best of all they are 100% street legal. I am so excited about getting them for my 92 acura legend. They only cost $500. This is really a great price. I have seen the piaa HID fogs as high as $1700. Sylvania is one of the most well respected lighting company in the world. If you get these you will be glad you did. I am not trying to sell these or help out Sylvania, I just thought I would make the Xenarcs known to you all.

I maybe interested. I don't like having a car that has brighter headlights than fogs.

sylvania has a good solution but the fogs will be a different color. it says that they light at 5400K vs our normal headlights at 4150K.

Even if they are a different color they will still look good. I am thinking that they will still appear the same color.

correct me if im wrong but if the higher the K the more blue it is correct? the reason why BMW and AUDI's lights are brighter than ours is that they have a higher K. right?

Yes, the higher the Kelvin rating, the bluer the color. But the reason BMWs and Audis look much bluer is b/c they are projectors and the projector instead of reflector optics make it appear bluer.

I'm seeing them for sale now on their site and as for the color question I think it will be more blue than stock like the BMW or Merceds hid's, but if you swap your bulbs to the 6k bulbs it should look great. That's my plan now.

That's even better. It'll match those of us who have 6000K's better.

Hahah.. and I just read Shyne's post.. Older threads should be color coded.
