Alarm system options

I'm looking for a good alarm system.
Nothing too expensive.

I know I want a 2 way remote, and adjustable sensitivity levels...

I will be moving to NC in a few months, would you guys recommend a system that can start the car?

I was looking at the Viper Responder 350, thoughts?
-I know it doesnt have an auto start.

What alarms do you have, and what would you guys recommend?

thats the one that i have, works great, i had a viper 2 way in my lexus, the viper doesnt even compare to the compustart. the shitty thing about the viper 2 way is the remote beeps back and tells you when your car receives the signal, so if you have a low car battery (like in the winter) and your car doesnt actually start, you wont be able to tell. the compustar 2 way tells you when the car receives the signal and when the car actually starts, not just when the car receives the signal. works great, good range, has an adjustable shock sensor

Viper is good

I have Python 990 which is the older model, I got a major hook up so I got it 2.5 years ago will never take it out and upgrade unless it breaks because I dont like dealing with the new Vipers.

Compustar makes good alarms also..

I got the viper 5901 on my 02tl and it works perfect. Remote start with the heat on/heated seats in the winter is a must ! it tells you if your car is on and what the temp is in the car. it has many options for custom settings plus you can always upgrade to the smart start in the future if you wish. it can be pricey but if you use ebay or craigs list you might be able to pick one up for under $200. all depends on your needs and if you have somthing in or on your car that someone wants to steal. peace of mind aint always cheap >!>!<!

google search viper 5901 and you can grab one cheap! i was charged $150 to install,200 for the alarm and 25 for the bypass.the only bad thing is you need to give up a key for the remote start to work.and a key programed can be an extra 100 clams.
