Airflow restriction in 99TL climate control

Last winter I had a chipmunk stashing bird food, leaves and other crap in my blower motor (no idea how it got acess to it). Anyhow, in the spring, I dropped the motor housing and cleaned it out and also replaced the cabin air filters.
I am noticing restricted airflow to the cabin. Unlike other threads that I have read, I get air in all the right paces I should be getting it when changing the settings....just not enough of it!! Is it possible that as the blower mulched all the crap in there, it blew the mulch into the ducting and to some extent blocking the airflow? How can I fix this problem....with winter approaching, I really need my front defroster to work well.

Thanks for any help
Itch

You could probably check your cabin filters. Just a thought.

I would take the filters out and inspect every thing. Turn the fan on high and see if air blows out hard with the filters removed.

I'll try that fast....if I get good flow with filters out, that would mean the ducts are clogged would it not?

No. The evaporator is really in the way to let debris into the vent system. Just make sure that nothing is in that region plugging up or restricting air flow

My 99 TL blower makes more noise in the recirculating mode. The filter are new and everything was cleaned out. Any suggestions? Was thinking about removing the blower to see if there was something in there. Maybe this is normal?=the increased humming sound in the Recirculating mode?

recirc uses inside air only- so yes its way more noise in the cabon the fresh air method

If the flow is down after replacing filter- make sure the arrow marked FLOW on filter is pointing towards the driver side of the car
