Hi could someone please explain to me what and Air Ride Suspension kit is and what it does. Thanks!

air suspension gives you the ability to lower and raise your car with the switches. my brother had it on his TL. it was really cool but the ride wasnt that great. his had 10 switches. he had the ability to lower or raise one wheel ata time and the other switches would pancake (drop the whole car at the same time) the car, then another one would drop the left sdide and vice versa and some other stuff.
