Is our horn HOT lead to Horn, or is it GROUND lead to HORN?

Probably what I'll use so no one can see it:

Or I may just have to add it to my switch array under the "not an ash tray"/lighter/power shelf (all my freakin pics were lost last format )

One thing I would suggest would be to keep your switch consealed... If a cop hears you blowing that horn you might get in a bit of trouble... if you hide the switch and the cop can't get the blow-horn to "sound" again, you might be able to convince him it was someone else, if he doesn't start pokin around in the engine.... "officer.. Why would a TL have a blow-horn?"

If you have a glowing blue switch labeled "Horn From Hell"... he might not be very kind..

yeah, i bought a small black switch, which I will mount under the steering colum, but I dont think cops really care for that, eventhought my horn is rated 139dB.

I still need an answer to my question, with my horn I have two diagrams, one is when Ground goes to the horn button (steering wheel), and one with a hot positive going to the steering wheel, which set-up do we have?

Its hard to test it with the multimeter since I can press the horn as Im checking.

Please to whoever did this, tell me whats up, I really want to hook it up already, eventhough Im using an inline fuse, I dont want to blow anything.

It is negative trigger. Get the Hella dual air horn, that's what I have and it's been almost 6 years and still works great. Really loud and sounds like a Ferrari horn.

I have installed my horn, I have oem also working with it, it is insane loud.

For future reference, the wire going to the OEM horn is NOT negative.

The oem horn is grounded to the chasis, and there is a HOT wire going to it from the horn trigger.

horns of that size are loud but too high pitched...and with all the space in the front bumper you could put a three trumpet set up..which are alot louder and have a deep tone
