That is probably the only area anyone would mount a rear view camera. Put on some sticky tape and it'll hold well.

Seems like a good one you got there. Only thing is the waiting time for it to get here. I might just get something like that.

Mine is on my license plate (covering the word "Ontario") and I did have a cop tell me that i should remove it b/c "you're not allowed to cover the word Ontario" which i understand. that was a few years ago and since the camera's have gotten a lot more popular since, i don't think cops care anymore. haven't been pulled over for it since. here's a pic:

it helps alot. you gotta test it before you try though. park really close to another car and get out to look at how much room you have left and get used to it.

thats gonna take forever to get to you. you dont really need night vision cause you'll always have the license plate light.

damn, thats super cheap.. would the video quality be shittier though?

and how's the installation/wiring? do you have the wire running through the trunk to behind the head unit?

The guy has sold over 35 units and has received some really good feedback so i guess it shouldnt be that bad. The pixels seem decent as well.
Mine has left Honk Kong , i guess would be here in a week or two.
Ill surely let you guys know how it is after i get it installed.

Did you have it wired to when you are in reverse in comes on the screen? And how would you be able to do that?

yes i did. if your HU is compatible, it will have a wire that you need to run to the reverse light's (+) wire. everytime you throw it in reverse, it will send a signal to the HU.

if i get this kind, i'm thinking of putting the camera into the actual license plate holes and then drilling new holes for the license plate right underneath the camera. the bottom of the license plate will be hanging off to the bottom of the bumper but it wouldnt be too noticeable.

i dont wanna cover my license plate frame and there's nowhere to really drill a hole for the round cameras, like above or below where the license plate should be
