Aftermarket Drop-In Air Filter Question
Hello. I have a 2003 Acura TL-P and am looking for an aftermarket drop-in air filter for it. The brands I see that are available for my car are the Comptech and the K&N. The K&N is a cotton air filter while the Comptech is a foam air filter. Also, the Comptech costs $10 more. I would like to know which one you guys think would give the most air flow and filter better. Anybody here have any experience with either product? Thanks.

It's a toss up. I like K&N, but there are those here that like Comptech. I do remember seeing a chart showing air flow comparison though. Try searching this forum, there have been a lot of posts on it.

I heard the foam ones will have more "air turbulance" when passing through the foam, so i went with a K&N one, i remove resonator and thought it will give me a nice "grawl"...but then it sounded like a car....got an INJEN CAI...sounds like lion "roaring"
