Aftermarket alarm feature
Hey I was wondering with all the high end alarms people say they have, has anyone kept the 2 step door unlock feature like factory but from the aftermarket alarm?
2 step is one push of unlock does drivers door a second push or holding down within 3 sec does the other 3 or all four.
I amdoing my own install and need to figure this out.

damn, i told my installer that I wanted that feature gone because I was sick of pressing it down twice. I figure if somebody wants to car jack me they're going to come straight for me, and not crawl in the passenger side or something. I dunno, guess I was just sick of holding it down twice.

hmm good point . I wonder if I should bother then. I like that the doors lock when I start my car now and unlock after. A big plus being how they should have done that from the factory.
