After all the mods and all the debt

I liked my 02 TL type S! It drove fast and handled okay. All the n.a mods and 2 trannys later, I'd say it was a good investment. No amount of mods would help it beat fast cars on the top end. It only ever hit one thirty once, on a closed course of course It had a great run, got me to school and back 2 towns over. I finally got a fast car! A Shelby gt500 convertible!
after purchasing, that vtec felt like nothing more than a loud noise, it no longer brought the rush it once did. I sold it for half of what I paid for it back in 08 at 195k miles. I found myself getting 18mpg city driving anyway, so what's the point of keeping another registration fee, and insurance bill? Now I look like a ballur everywhere I drive, and I am careful everywhere I park. It's not a car you can drive with any inhibitors in your system so I drink solely at home. It has made me a more careful grownup who has to keep a job, and be nice to people to facilitate that. I now have my dream car, and my acura helped get me there. It was a good value, a fun sedan, and now it's someone else's. Y'all take care and keep on driving.

Very inspirational !!!
Good to know that your TL bridged the gap to your dream car.

Be safe and drive carefully !!! Good luck with the new "killer machine".

If your years with the TL didn't include some track days- immediately look up your local road race track and see which renters are driving schools/groups

A pro race driver serves as your in-car coach! or in a lead/follow group - you are not pressured to go faster than comfortable as you learn the cars limits- which increase with each session on course!
Often found for 200-300 U$D for a full day that will provide you with the truth- you didn't know shite about car control until that day, and every day forward will be a new opportunity to fine tune skills at low speed on the road = then hit the track again

caution- in the words of one ziner- a track day habit makes crack addiction seem like sound financial planning
