Aero kits: Acura vs. Wings West or other
My first post, so sorry in advance if this is on the site somewhere...but in looking at all the great looking TLs in the Gallery and elsewhere I notice that there's a mix of Aero Kits being used: original equip and aftermarket. What's your experience been like with either? Anything to watch out for in one vs the other? Would like to put one on this summer.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I went with OEM to avoid paint cracking or chipping. Also, the OEM are made out of abs plastic, stronger and more durable than the fiberglass or urethane the aftermarket kits are made of.

Dealer installation
Has anyone had a dealer install a kit to their TL. I have talked to a few dealers and I am getting a slight difference in price. What do you recommend? Have the dealer install it?

If you can read instructions and are a bit mechanically inclined with a fair amount/selection of basic handtools, you can install the kit yourself within 2-4 hours. My suggestion would be to save your money and DIY. I ain't difficult to do.

Thanks for the info - the dealer was going to charge $1400.00 for the parts and labor on the aero kit. After looking into some prices - that really didn't seem to bad. 850 for the kit, another 150 for shipping and 400 for install. Does anyone know a good source for a acura aero kit?
