In my opinion it is sorta expensive becuz you have to pay for the pulleys $129... Then you have pay for install...
You gain a little bit of power, and the throttle responds a little better...

I like them but I sorta wish I didnt pay so much for them...

If you have a system you should think twice about getting them.

Too bad you can't search this because it has been discussed before.

Basically, if you go with the pulleys, you might experience some side-effects that you may not like, such as dimming of the lights, etc. due to a decrease in output from the altenator. If you have or plan on getting a system in your car, don't do it. IMO, I wouldn't do it anyway...not really worth it...take the money and get something nice, like some '02 tails if you don't have them...

Really?!?!? Crap! I have both the AEM pulleys and a 12-inch sub with a 500 watt amp sitting at home ready to be installed! With the AEM pulleys alone, is there a dramatic difference or just a slight difference? Would my HID's become really dark? Help a.s.a.p!

Pullies free up HP by under driving them. Your HIDs would be dim at idle but back up to normal when you accelerate.

Thumbs up yup! agreed... but that's nothing

old pulleys were heavy! love my new pulley's and with denso plugs, and optima battery i don't see the dip! best bet for heavy system is another battery or high output altinator! stock alt puts out 105 amps, you would be good with 125-150 amps, or i've also heard of a piggyback altinator, not sure if that's viable?. kman
