AEM or INJEN intake?????????

AEM or INJEN intake???????

i heard that both are good name
but which one is better?????

also is it worth to spend more $$money$$ to get a CAI?
because i heard most ppl say that it is hard to install a CAI
in the TL.............is it true??

I got the AEM, it wasn't very hard to install at all. Of course my roommate is a part time mechanic and just did it for me very quickly!
As for which one? Well it's just my opinion that the AEM is better because of the by-pass valve.

Yeah but I belive Injen also has a by-pass-valve.....Right?

You can get it for injen as well... 3" size.

If I had the TL-P and NOT the type-S I would get the short ram with the Injen heat shield purely because of the mantanance factor of it. Plus, you wouldnt have to rip anything off so you wouldnt risk ruining your bumper clips.

If I go with this set up....The Heat shield and the Short ram intake Polished will I have to remove the battery cover as it appears on the Intakes Pic ?

Why? The battery cover shouldnt even get in teh way. Do you even know why people take the battery cover off in the first place? My guess is because they want to show off their aftermarket aluminum battery tie down bar.
