not true for overall better performance the CAI is better....because cold air makes for better combustion. The short is more for high speeds were there is air circulated thru the eng. compartment from speed. The CAI will give you cold air all the time....

If i get cai then, do i need to get bigger exhaust to let all the air out?
I mean tl has dual exhaust but it isn't true dual exhaust. It just splits into 2. So would I notice much power gain even with just CAI?
