AEM CAI Question??

AEM CAI Question??

hey guyz....

i have a question here with the AEM CAI....

is there any problem to drive pretty fast during a rain or a big rain??....
is that really a problem??

or just drive normal speed during a rain then it will be okay??
or just DON'T go over those water bump???

hope you guyz can help me....thanks

i have the aem intake and i live in tampa... it rains all the time here the really heavy shit too. as long as you dont drive in standing water you will be fine, the filter is fairly shielded, and it will only suck water if it is fully submerged. water is heavy, the engines vacuum will pull air thru a half submerged filter before it picks up the water. but if most or all of the filter is covered, and the engine is still pulling in air... then it will suck up water.... standing water is the enemy

so we have nth to do about it,rite??....cuz i ordered the CAI already.....and i m worry about those stuff......

and just DON'T go over the water bump,rite??
