AEM CAI mount broke??
Yeah, I tried searching this, so I'm sorry if it's been covered. But on my AEM CAI mount, it cracked from the hole, outward. So it is no longer holding onto the rubber/bolt that connects it to my engine bay. Has anyone else run into this, and what have they done.
Thanks in advance.

Mine hasn't broken yet, but I had to bend the crap out it to get it to line up, AND I'm using a mount from my old air box to get it to fit. Try and build something outta plumbing parts or something fo the like. Did that for my beemer, and it holds up fine. Good luck, and I'm actually suprised to see you got the original rubber mount to fit in the first place. Mine was off by an inch!

yes it was a common problem a while back. If you still have the receipt, call up AEM and tell them the problem. They have replaced a few CAIs that I know of.

Anyways, for now, I took 2 heavyduty zip-ties and created a harness to keep it from banging on the engine bay, it actually works very well.
And I bought the CAI second-hand on the black market here, so no chance of a receipt
