Advice On Buying A Used 01
I just test drove an 01 with Nav and with 23,000 miles on the odo. It drove very nice on the highway and city streets, and was clean throughout. I am in the greater Boston area and they want $25,900.00. Any feedback, advice would be appreciated. I am nervous about buying a used vehicle for this amount of money.
Thanks!

That car cost under $30K brand new assuming the buyer got a decent deal, probably about $29.5 or so. Unless this is a certified pre-owned with extra warranty you're paying too much, and even then I would re-consider.
You could get a 55K mile Lexus LS400 with NAV, HID and other options for the same money: http://www.texascarsdirect.com/cgi-bin/inventory.asp (scroll 3/4 way down to see the LS). The Lex will last forever and is much nicer although not as sporty. If you want sporty neither is a good choice.
Heck, look at the M-B E430 for 27 grand on the same page. Yes, I have seen these actual cars and they are very nice. I bought my current BMW from the same place. I'm gonna get flamed but lemme tell you: the Acura TL "ain't all that" after you live with it for a while. I traded mine in after a year.
If you're really set on the TL I'd look for one just about to come out of factory warranty in good shape, and buy a 100K mile B2B extended warranty (costs 1/2 if you get it with factory warranty still intact). FWIW I personally do not care for the 2002+ body styling on the TL but the in-dash changer is nice.

I'm with the rest. That price seems high. New one is only 5k more.

UPDATE!
Thanks everyone for your input. Here is where I am at.
I called the dealer back the next afternoon asking for a better price, and they told me they would drop the price 600.00 to 25,300.00. I said I would get back to them. Decided to go for it and called that night only to be told they had sold it.
Made some calls to other dealers asking for a late TL-P with Nav and best price on a new one. Found a dealer who gave me a price of 29,371.00 for a new 03-P silver with Nav.
Visited them Sat. to get my wife's car appraised for trade. They really low balled me so I put a deposit on the new TL and will sell the old car privately.
Now that I have done that I have been reading about the new Accord-EX V6- 240hp, 5sp auto, latest NAV and traction control-
makes me wonder what to get?

Just to give you a reference point. When I bought my '01 new I got the price down to $29K (before taxes), OTD, I think the price was close to $31K.
I then used the money I saved for the spoiler, wood shifter knob and woodtrim gauge kit.
