Adr Rim-cypher (bronze)

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the Forum. I have just put new wheels and tires to my TYPE-S (18 X 8.5 ADR-CYPHER Bronze with Falken FK451 245/40ZR/18). What do you guys about size of the rims and tires. Pls. comment (good or bad). I did not drop. The rides and turns are awesome.

I will get a metallic tint 35 all around next week. Pls. advise me if I should get an alignment right away or a bit. I have 18K on my ride. Thanks!

Yikes. I hope you're not dropping that car? 8.5" is too wide for our car and with a 245 series tire you're gonna rub like mad. I believe the highest offset they come in is a +45.

Very Lucky

Thanks for the comment and the good info. Thank goodness, I haven't experienced the rub yet.

Honestly dude, return them. They don't fit, you can't drop your car, which makes it look like a 4x4. Just my $.02.

I like the wheels and how they look on your car, But if you want to drop it you'll probably rub. But then again if you haven't rubbed yet maybe you can get by dropping it a little bit.

So, I'd keep them if your not planning on slammin it.

Try it. I bet your rear tires will rub if you've a few big guys sitting in the back seat when going over bumps or dips, even if you don't drop the car.

18"x8.5" will definitely rub badly if you drop, which you said you won't...
Those don't look bronze!!!
<just kidding>

Nope. Writing IN ALL CAPS in the wonderful world of the internet (I'm gonna assume you aren't an internet geek like some of us may be considered) means YOU ARE YELLING AT SOMEONE. If you never capitalize, you are submissive and then someone will come and HARRASS YOU TO NO END!.

So, ALL CAPS=YELLING=mean.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for your honest inputs and remarks. It's cool. I am not offended. I like it when people tell me as they see it. I think everyone on the forum is very cool and knows alot of stuffs about the tl-s. I have alot to learn from everyone.

Thanks again!
