Adjustable Shocks: Illumina & Koni?
I'm thinking about getting shocks put in at the same time as getting my springs put in. I had Tokico Illuminas in my old G1 Integra and liked them a bunch. I just put Koni adjustables in my NSX last month, and I wouldn't mind going with those either. Are the Koni shocks (yellow) listed in the Suspension parts section the adjustable ones? From the looks of the pic, it's got that plastic adjustment knob on the top.
Does anyone have either of these adjustable shocks in their TL?

i'm looking for shocks too. i had a discussion with my buddy at his install/retail shop about the tokicos and konis. if the KYB AGX adjustables were available, i would definitely go with those but theyre not. the tokicos aren't reliable and the warranty replacement program sux which is why the tokicos went from a lifetime warranty to a 1 year (i hear its 9 months now) deal. The konis are overpriced...but our options seem limited.
the konis are, i believe, rebound adjustable.
i did have one question, are the shocks for the TL the same as for the 98+ Honda Accord?

Since springs and koni/tokico shocks setup is relatively close to
the price of the Apex'i suspension, it would make sense to go with a coilover system like the apex'i coilovers since you will getting new springs and shocks included in the set with the added height adjustments. A few of the members have the apex'i setup. valuetl is one that I recall, I'm sure he can give you more info on what the ride quality is like but I remember it being very firm but comfortable for daily driving. There is also the NEX coilver system, a couple of partial coilover systems (Ground Control and Skunk2), non-adjustable Mugen suspension system and the completely adjustable race-track ready Zeal B6 coilover system. The last two being the most expensive. If you're really crazy about dropping really low, the NEX system can drop until your wheels are at 45 degrees!

Well....I have Koni and Eibach prokit installed in my TL, depending on what you want, I want Apex'i at the first place, but I changed my mind, coz i know that Eibach/Koni will make my ride Stiffer but you guys might want Apex'i instead since they might be more comfy. But in conclusion I prefere Koni and Eibach and Koni is height adjustable too...
