Acurazine stickers!!?want em, gotta have em, how do i get one asap

i donated n didnt get anytin.......n i didnt even donate the minimum. ... i fiilled out everytin..... any mod can help?

 

as far as i know they were having trouble with the supplier.

i offered my services to a dependable decal distributor but got no response.
all i know as of now.

Just go to ur local sticker/decal shop and have them make you one/some.

Well I know that a lot of us donated to not only support the charity but to also receive a sticker and represent this site in our respective cities. I would certainly like to display my appreciation for this forum by promoting it to other acura owners.

nobody should be getting grilled for asking about it.

if an answer to why they havent gotten them yet has been provided..someone feel free to copy and paste it or share that info.

JUST BE PATIENT. not easy processing thousands of envelopes. i won a t-shit for the charity drive and still waiting on it from our vendor. and teh stickers. but they will come. have faith. and this is like the 3rd or 4th thread ive seen like this.

 

i remember seeing it on another thread but i cant find it now. does anyone know the font details for the sticker so i can make my own? i know the ACURA is bold and ZINE is not but i dont know what font it is.

u CAN NOT make ur own acurazine.com stickers (well with out permission) but they wont let u. shit u cant even sell legal acurazine.com stickers. lol

some truth to that.
we had a similar discussion last year.

its illegal to distribute them or profit from them.
there are no laws against making your own items with a Copywritten logo.

if i want a t-shirt with McDonalds on it. as long as im not selling it. i can make my McDonalds Tshirt.

not trying to start a fire here. (i know its frowned upon) just making sure that nobody has it twisted.

BUT reguardless... i suggest everyone just donate(its for a great cause) and get them that way.

 

People aren't getting them, that's why someone suggested to make your own.

i believe the question has been answered though a few times already in seperate threads. there was a problem with the distributor, but they are still working to get them made/sent out.

this isnt a situation where people gave money and acurazine refuses to deliver the goods.. just a minor set-back as far as im concerned.

 

So, unless you are making them yourself, using your own time and materials, its legal...But if you hired someone to make them, wouldn't that make the stickers, or in your example the shirts illegal due to copyright laws? Because technically somebody is selling them to you.

 

just patiently wait for them .. if you can't.. like others said.. just have a place that makes stickers do it for you. yeah.. it's illegal to redistribute or copy it.. but if you're that desperate.. what can you do ?

 

 

i don't see why azine would be upset if we made our own (as long as we're not profiting off of them) because we're repping azine and spreading the word for more people to join

 

the t-shirt reference was being used as a Self-project as well.. not getting them made.

yes, if you hire somebody to make them, you and the distributor are in the wrong...

buying sticker rolls and cutting your own, is not.

no, because nobody here really makes their own (if you do i dont care). the majority donates and recieves them around christmas/ new years.

and im pretty sure they are not going to be willing to give that info out to anyone.

 

okay okay fine. im gonna donate when the time comes i just wanted the sticker now. i was just hoping somebody knew the details since ive already seen a thread somewhere on this site that has the details on it. im just not able to find it again. ive searched multiple times. maybe it was deleted...dammit i shouldve saved that thread.
