Acura' s in Germany

Does anyone know if they sell Acura's in Germany?

There is a good chance that I will get transferred over to Germany and I just purchased an '03 TL-S. I'm now curious as to whether or not there are any Acura dealerships in Germany.

Thanks,

Stacy

Do they called "Honda" over there? I thought only North America uses Acura, everywhere else uses Honda.

Yes they are called Honda around the world except for N.A

I don't think the TL/Inspire is sold in Europe though.

Check out this site, it's the Honda of Deutchland site;

Yup.. It's Honda everywhere else. North America is the only shallow place that needs a different luxury name plate

I think Tuff's right though... I don't think they sell TL's in Europe.... they do have the Legend though... which is our RL .....

germany requires any car with xenons to have auto-leveling head-lights, so i don't think our cars would even be legal to drive there

In Europe they love the Civic Type-R and the Accord Type-R but absolutley HATE the Legend which is our RL. You should read a Euro review, they are HARSH:wow:

German Requirement

Are you sure about that German requirement for xenon auto-leveling headlights? If so, looks like my decision has been made for me. ;o(

they also sell as acura in asia countries...outside japan...

well...in germany u can get 5 series and other gd euro cars at a low price...therefore the TL and RL are not popular at all...also autobahn is a disaster for most of the japanese cars...

what they need is some solid euro cars...

btw the type R are popular in euro...but they are kinda expensive coz they do have tax on high performance cars...
170hp for a 2 liter is already considered as a high performance car..

NOT necessarily true... in fact, I was over seas in late March/early April... in Japan... NO Acuras/Lexus/Infinity-all Honda/Toyota/Nissan label... but yet, when I went to Singapore... They did have Acuras AND Lexus... but I didn't see any Infinity cars. I started thinking, perhaps, they bought the cars over here and had them shipped back... but the driver's seat was still on the left side.

Some Asian countries still have Acura/Lexus/Infiniti.... For example, Acura TL is sold as is in HK, but in JDM spec.....Lexus sells IS200/IS300 in Taiwan, as well as GS300 SC430, and LS430....Infiniti sells Q45 and QX4 in Taiwan as well...
