Acura indash cd player question

[1] If I purchase a 2002 or 2003 6 cd indash player, would it play cdr's fine?
[2] Will a 2002 or 03' fit right on my 2001 w/navi?

Thanks!

1) Yes, the 02-03 HU seems to have less problem playing CDRs but nothing is written in stone.
2) Yes, as long as you get the 02-03 TL HU and not the 01-03 CL HU. They look alike so make sure you get the proper one.

Your really better off getting an aftermarket CD/MP3/CD-R/RW player.. I love my Clarion touch screen! It's gotta be 500x better than the factory deck, and not to mention it works really well with my new subs and amp too.

I recommend Pioneer or Clarion for a solid head unit replacement.

i would recommend saving a lotta money and getting an Ipod and a FM transmitter or hardwire it, whoever you want it. its much cheaper, more usefull not to say its one cool device.

iPod with the icelink hardwiring is the best set up I can think of if you want to keep the stock HU. Icelink allows you to control the ipod with the steering wheel control.

No they make it for the TL and I have it in my 03 Accord EX. The iPod Mini icelink might still not be aval. for the TL.

In my '02, I got a CD jammed in there. It was a store bought CD (Reel Big Fish to be specific). The dealer immediately said not to put burned CDs in there. When they got the disk out (and told me I had a new deck), they said that Acura states not to play burned CDs. Just to check, I put the same CD back in and wouldn'tyaknowit?...stuck again. New radio, and no problems so far.
