I was on the computer today researching problems with a friends BMW x-5. I came across a website www.alldata.com/consumer this website lists all the recalls AND service bulletins for any make or model car or truck. I easily found the list for the x-5 (a lenghty one BTW) But under Acura it only had 2001 models and when I clicked on those it sent a message saying Honda/Acura motor co. has chosen to limit this information to its consumers and to contact them with any questions. This seemed kind of strange to me, after all the 2001 CL-S had very little service bulletins and almost no recalls. I called the Acura # 1 800 382 2238 and asked the lady why, she beat around the bush saying it was an executive decision and so on, but assured me They would provide the recall info. When asked about service bulletins she said those were harder to get but acted like she could do it. I didnt have my vin handy so I didnt get the info. The lady at Acura was nice and polite it just seemed a little strange, like what do they have to hide? No other car manuf. was attempting to hide this info. Sorry for the long post just something I thought was interesting.

Why not just use a different site? I found the 2002 TSB's at www.nhtsa.dot.gov

Yep I use it reqularly too. See if Honda can try to stop the Highway Safety to stop publishing its TSB and recalls...
