Here is the detail for the fix for my rattling sunroof. This used to occur when the sunroof was closed, and going over bumps or rougher road surface. Not a squeak but a rattle of a noise.

This is what it says on the service sheet:

814006 Clean Sunroof moulding and apply taps to eliminate noise.

They applied these silver colored metal taps to the sun roof railings on each side. No rattling any more when sunroof is closed. Never had a noise problem with it open. There is no tape anywhere applied.

First it was silicone lube, then some kind of tape on the edges. Then felt tape for the rails and now clips? Man I don't even know if the click noise I hear when the car sways from going over bumps is the sunroof anymore. This is so annoying, I have to find this rattle.
