steer clear

Watch out for Tire Discounters. Free rotation and alignment, but they scratched up the wheels on my 99 Prelude big time and then tried to deny it and blame it on salt and clear coat wearing off.

Why not get it aligned before you put your 19's on?

The diameter of the wheels doesn't matter if it's done before or after. Now say you had the back and/or front dropped an uneven amount (i.e.- Front -3" and Back -2" instead of Front -3" and Back -3") the caster angle will most likely not be right when it's done. That's why GOOD tire shops tell people that if they carry tools or something else heavy in the trunk all the time to go ahead and leave it in there so the caster will be correct (and the car sitting at the same rake angle) when it leaves the shop.

goto belle tire......they do a good job with tire alignment. I had my 18s on when I went there, and they are REAL careful, especially if u stay there and watch them. Don't get lazy, sit their for the hour and watch ur car! good luck

not to be mean but i dont think belle tire is the same here as it is there.

also latley i have noticed that customer service is in the toilet. no one really gives a **** it seems like. they either asses from the begining or they act like they give a **** so they can get your assurance, then do what ever they **** they want.....

its these young people, they are uneducated and have attitudes from hell.

If you really want to get the alignment after you get the rim, talk to service manager, let him know you really care about the rim. Show him the rims and make sure you'll get it back same condition. And tell him you're picky!!!

nah i just decided that i will get the alignment at the place i bought the wheels at.

i mean they are comming in 12 days and i just got the springs installed 2 days ago and i read threads that people wait about 2 weeks after the spring install so that they could settle befopre getting a alignmnet....

oh yea is there a way anyone could **** up an alignment?
