Acura 3.2 V-tec Question

Hey everybody I am brand new to the Acura 3.2 scene. I just traded in my 260 hp Lincoln Continental and i a please to say the 225 hp Acura is much nice onther than the highway ride.

Anyway I have a V-Tec Question. I read on these post that most people say that V-tec kicks in at around 4400 to 4800 RPM. I dont drive at those RPMs for most daily driving so does that mean I am almost never taking advantage of V-tec performance.

Thank you to all who reply.

:wow:

not for daily driving, but when you want to merge, pass some cars or just to have fun, I'm sure you'll hit it

Once you hit v-tec, you will never drive below it ever again. Our engines are made to scream so enjoy it. It will feel like a little turbo once v-tec kicks in.

you can sort of hear it at around 4400 rpm, it's not as quiet as you would drive below that.
