I just got an email from Acura inviting me to join the Owner Link program.
Here it is.....
You have been selected to participate in the pilot launch of "Owner
Link," an all-new personalized online service created exclusively for
Acura owners and lessees! This service will provide beneficial resources
and information such as maintenance schedules, troubleshooting tips and
dealer contact information. To get started, simply click on the link below:
http://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp
Once there, you will need to register for an "Owner Link" username and
password. After you've browsed the website and set up your personalized
homepage, click on the "Share Your Opinion" link to let us know what you
think.
(Note: Your "cookies" must be enabled in order to take part in this
pilot launch.)

This new owner's site was also posted on the www.acuramdx.org site. There was several positive remarks about it. I have taken a look (own the MDX) and do not see where a VIN or any other proof of ownwership is required. I wonder how they will keep non-owners out. If non-owners can register then how can it be called an owners site?
