Acropora did you put a curse on my car?!?!?
Acropora, this past Saturday you told me not to flame you regarding you not using your AC in order to save money on gas. You said you were a poor Janitor and your car note was half your total income for the month.
That post was about 11:30 Saturday night. I went to a club about that time. Well, guess what happened? While I was at the club I had a "hit and run" in the parking lot. My 2 month old 2002 Acura TL-S now has a buckled front fender and damages to the front bumper. One of the headlights is also pointed down slightly. If you did place a curse on my car please remove it!
Anyway, does anyone have any advice or suggestions on how I should go about finding a good body shop? What questions should I ask? What should I look for? The Acura dealership in my area does not have a body shop. Thanks.
The bad part about this is even if the car is fixed by the best shop, psychologically speaking, I'm not sure my TL-S will ever be the same.: (

Makes you think about putting a claymore in the bumper, nice addition to the alarm. Suppose we could pass it off as cleaning up the gene pool???
Sorry to hear that...

Hi Steve,
I wish I have the ability to witch craft but I don't. Nevertheless, I am sorry to hear what happen to your car, now the curse goes that low life who hit your car and ran away. Hope you'll be able to find a good body shop and get the car fixed soon.
Meanwhile, I am still washing the toilet bowls and faithful making the payments on my beloved TL-S.

Sorry to hear about your car. I had the same thing happen to me while at a paint store in the middle of the day. When I came out of the store, I saw the back of my car had been damaged and the person who did this just took off from the store. I was left holding the repair bill. To get to the point - - it can happen anywhere at anytime. I'm sure the person was probably driving without insurance.
