So, my tranny locked up into second gear and I'm fearing the worst, I've been looking at possible alternatives to the tl tranny, I have seen that the 06-07 accord trannies bolt up with little modification. I have also seen the 6 speed conversion from the CL-s but has anyone tired the V6 accord m/t, I've seen a few with decent milage for pretty 500 bucks. they were from the 03-04 models I know they are both j series engines but will it work if so what kind of mounts, or mods would be needed. Im aware the ecu, harness and gagues would have to change. has it been done?

Yes, you can use an accord M/T. However, the Honda manual transmissions don't have LSD, if you care about that.

The LSD is a make or brake for me. It is half the reason to go to a manual

When will Honda learn lol. You def want the LSD for the car, see if you can hold out or surf craigslist for a totalled 03 CL-S.

Its probably still best to use the cl-s wiring harness im assuming?

Get the richie module and use the 3rd gen TL trans.
