DAMN DAMN DAMN. I accidently backed up into my garage while backing up and put a nice thick 1 inch scratch on my trunk.

How much do you think it will cost to paint this up? Is it better to take it to the dealership or a Paint Specialist Shop?

damn.. only one inch?

I have a 4 inch scratch on one side and another 4-5 inch scratch on my spoiler. This winter has been tough.

Personally I'm taking it to a body shop. They match just as well as whoever the dealer will refer you to.. and they're cheaper.

I was pulling into my garage and I guess the turn was a bit too tichet and put a nice little scratch in my rear driver side molding. I took it to the dealer so they could replace the peice, but they buffed out the scratch instead- at no cost!

Worth a shot.

Get a lot more scratches here and there and you won't be anal as much

Damn...I know how you feel man. Some guy at my school backed up at the parking lot, and hit me right on the bumper. So there are scratches all around the license plate. I was pissed off! Another time, was when I parked at a nearby Genovese, and then next thing you know it..I came back..and more scratches on my back. I was like goddamn New Yorkers can't drive for $hit! I was planning to repaint my car...but i'll wait till it gets more obvious. Right now...you can only see it upclose. It really Sucks. But the costs of repainting the bumper should range around 180-300 bucks at a bodyshop. Dealers would charge more.
