99 tl for sale!questions also.

I am selling my 99 tl. it is flamenco black pearl with black interior. It has 105k miles on it. My question is that I am selling it for $10,700, is that too much to ask? I owe that much on it and bought a new car and just want to get rid of it. I just had the tbelt and water pump done so it saves the new owner about $600. it is in great condition and needs absolutely nothing, has new tires and relatively new brakes.please let me know if this is too much to ask.

You didn't mention whether you have navi or a spoiler.

Kelly says 9875 for the Indy area without the above. With both, you are looking at 10,310. You may get your 10,700 with the tbelt/pump swap, but I seriously think that you will have a hard time getting book. The used car market is flooded right now.

To put it in perspective, Hubler Acura (Greenwood, In) is advertising six(!) 2002 TL-S's for 15,500. It was in the indy Star today. Probably lease returns, but damn...

Apologies if I bum you out. Good luck...

i got my 2000 tl with 90k for 10 grand flat

but i see alotta 99 tls in my area going for as high as 11.5 on the private market, like 12k through dealership

the fact that its above 100k and out of warranty is kind of discouraging too, but hey just put it out there and take the best reasonable offer you get

i bought my 99TL.. clean and only 65k miles on it for under 10k. so i dont know mannnn
only problem was that it had little scratches on the sides and tape deck didnt work. haha not like that mattered, alittle rubbing compound got rid of all scratches and i just use the CD player..
