I wanted to find out where i can order a set of fog lights for the 99 front end. Ive seen some that have a whole lamp that takes up the space vs. the oem one thats like a cover with a small lamp in the middle. Idk if maybe they were modded from another car but if so any help would be appreciated. I have the car in the paint shop now so i wanna order them to get them installed....Thnanks

1st is JDM.. needs JDM front bumper.. or retrofit them in there by hacking up bumper....


2nd is either from old civic and accord... not sure which gen..

he has the type S motor for the years 01-02 and calls it Type R.

yea theres a lot of DIYs on here on how to retrofit accord and civic fogs onto the front bumper. Check the DIY section for the 2G TL.

Like the others said there is no OEM fog light for the 99-01 front end. IMO I think the best look is the fogs on the JDM front bumper, only thing is finding the JDM lip which is pretty impossible for the JDM front. A few have used the OEM lip and fit it to the JDM bumper which is what I plan on doing as well. Check the user eleventure he was one of the first to fit an OEM front lip onto the JDM bumper.

No, but it's not hard to make it fit.

^ exactly. Its because the JDM bumper is much shorter than the USDM one so the OEM lip is longer than the JDM bumper

but back to the topic at hand @OP, if you want fogs on your OEM bumper and cant find the JDM bumper with fogs your best bet is to retrofit civic or accord fogs into the OEM bumper and that looks great as well.
